His registered name is Freeburn but we call him Espresso. Espresso is a full-bodied gelding that is 6 years-old and stands approximately 15.1 to 15.2 hands tall. He retired from the track in September 2009 and has proven himself to be a quiet and sane mount for any discipline. He is sound for any discipline.
Espresso stands quietly in the cross-ties for grooming and stands for the vet and farrier without a fuss. He loads easily into the trailer and travels well to lessons and shows. Espresso began a re-training program over the winter and has been coming along nicely. He happily goes walk, trot, canter and is regularly jumping small courses. We think he is particularly suited as a hunter/jumper mount for a smaller adult or a younger rider working with a trainer.
Espresso's teeth were floated in the fall, he is up to date on all vaccinations and has been adjusted by the chiropractor. Espresso is quiet enough to give pony rides to the family at holidays and talented enough to do well in the show ring. Adoption Fee: $3500
