Friends of Ferdinand provides assistance to Triple Fax
(pictured here), a nine year-old thoroughbred with 100 starts and is
still sound. Without intervention, this war-house was
slaughter-bound.
We also accept Unbridled Soldier and a little guy we call Joe into
our adoption program.
Highway Hero and Swift Road say goodbye to their foster homes and
thanks to FFI volunteers and supporters, have been adopted into
loving and caring homes.

Friends of Ferdinand turns
to the Fans of Barbaro for financial support. Four thoroughbreds were
taken into our program on November 17th from the Hoosier Park end-of-season
Paddock sale. Without
intervention, these horses would have had no opportunity for a second
career.
Mynard Road, Jessica's Win,
Storm Cellar and Highway Hero were provided refuge at a time when their
futures were uncertain.

forces to help a 13 year-old thoroughbred war-horse retire safely, Carson City Kid, an Exceller Fund horse was housed and
cared for by a Friends of Ferdinand foster home found his forever home
in Zionsville, IN. Exceller Fund graciously gave Friends of Ferdinand
a portion of Carson City Kid's adoption fee. These funds were used to
